Due to budget constraints, I would settle for an XDA Atom.. but this is what I would really like!!! Kahit di na ako magka-boyfriend!!! Ibili nyo ko ng ganito!!!! WAAHHHHHH!!!! I'll be your slave forever!! HAHAHA! Just kidding!

It's the HTC TyTN II! Whoohoo!!! This was released last July 2007 and both has HSPDA, wifi, and 3G capabilities!! Yey! And a big bonus, a GPS receiver! So, in case na mawala ka you could always use this! Works for any country!!

It's running also on WM6 (the latest, I might add) and has a 3.15 MP primary camera, 2048×1536 pixels, autofocus, video; secondary VGA videocall camera. Ang galing-galing!!!

But it only has a 400MHz processor so it may be a bit slow.. Pero since di pa ako nakakahawak nito, I really could not guarantee anything. So, if anybody out there has this HTC TyTN II phone, feel free to drop your comments! Teka, tama ba sentence construction ko?

This was just released October 2007 in Malaysia currently around RM 3200 - 3280. That's PhP 40k-42k. But lowest price in stores (Malaysia) is RM 2, 699 according to THIS. That is equivalent to PhP 34288.01!!! Mas mahal pa sya kesa sa laptop ko!!!

N90 anyone?

My ex-bf, CJ and I had lunch at Pancake House last Sunday. BTW, nagtaas na sila ng presyo!!! Huhuhu!! Can't afford ko na yung prices nila.. Oh well..

Moving on, CJ got himself an N90 phone. He got it for like PhP 5000!!!! Meron nga lang syang scratch sa external LCD screen. An array of dead pixels. Toink! Personally, it is so SLOWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!! Need I say more? The phone itself is bulky.. Is it because of the camera?! Hmm.. YES!!! And the internal LCD screen is smaller compared to my own Nokia 6280..

CJ can actually get the internal LCD screen repaired for PhP 800. I have no idea kung presyo 'to sa Greenhills.. Hmm… but there is no way in hell that you'll get me to get one of these!

mic problems?

I just bought myself a pair of cheap headset/mic from CD-R King Gateway yesterday. They cost around PhP100. At the store, the sales girl tested it first to make sure it wasn't a dud. She plugged it into this mini-MP3 player and it was indeed working fine. They told me that they're unable to test the mic since their computer's down. So, I said, "Ok.. This has warranty naman.." 1 week replacement daw. So I got home and plugged everything into my laptop.

To test the mic, here's what you do:

1. Open up Volume Controls. (You can reach this by double-clicking on the little speaker icon on the lower-right corner of your screen. Or you can go to Start>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices>Volume Tab>Click on Advanced button)

2. Make sure that the Mic In section is not set to mute!

3. Then next, open up Sound Recorder (from Start>All Programs>Accessories>Entertainment>Sound Recorder)

4. Click on the Record button and start saying something.. hehehe.. (I played a song using my mobile by placing it near the mouthpiece)

5. Click on Stop and then Play. If you're able to hear what you said/played, the the mic is working! You're good to go!

thinking of getting an atom…

I was supposed to post my POKEMON Emerald experience here but since the cheat sheets are in my laptop, I can't upload them where they can easily be downloaded. So, I'll be posting about my decision of getting an O2 XDA Atom instead. I'll be junking my old but very reliable HP iPaq and give it to my sister so she can play POKEMON on it.

Way back in early 2006, I think, the O2 XDA Atom costs around 40k-50k. I remember 'cause my friend Paoness, dropped her O2 XDA Atom in a bucket of water and we were like "tsk.. tsk.. tsk.." Now, late 2007, O2 XDA Atoms cost for as little as 17k which is as complete as it can get (as per posts in eBay.ph of course). 

It's running on WM5 and as far as the reviews go, faster due to a Intel PXA272 416 MHz processor. It also has a 2MP camera but unfortunately, this phone does not have any 3G capabilities. No HSPDA either. But who needs 3G if you have wifi right?

Now, if I do decide to go with an HP brand, I would have to go with HP rw6815 which is the same as the Atom.. Hmm.. Decisions.. Decisions…

And I can have Janet buy me a PDA when she goes to Malaysia!! Woohoo!!!

Finally finished with the customizations!! The background is only temporary until I can find a good one that'll fit in my blog theme. Hehehe..
